It's really more about who you are and what you like to do with your free time. Living in SW DC, I was a heartbeat from VA shopping and from DCA. You also have MARC and metro stations and a fairly easy drive to BWI (30-40 minutes). However you are closer to the college crowd if that's a driver for you. You don't want to be headed North or West out of Greenbelt during the weeknights :0 What else? I find Greenbelt is too limiting in the things I like.only 1 bookstore for example. ![]() It is really geared to more greenspace but is convenient to the outlets on the weekends. But remember that it's fairly easy to live in one area of the City and party in the next area over. Your personality and salary will drive that decision ultimately.
