From here, click on the Help and instructions text box and follow points 5 & 6 above to edit your information box help text.Click on Edit fields on the right hand side of the request type you wish to edit: To edit the information box on your Request type screen/s, repeat steps 1 & 2 above, then select Request types from the left hand menu:.The information box will now be displayed on the homepage of the portal: The edit screen will now display a preview of how the information box will be displayed on your Service Desk: We often like to use panels to enclose the message within a coloured panel for clarity (see example below). When you click in the Introduction text box an edit box will appear which will allow you to use Jira markdown format to format a message for the portal.Clicking the Introduction text box will enable you to edit the help text: A Portal settings screen will open which is global for the JSD portal that you are using.To edit the information box on the Service Desk home screen, select Portal settings from the left hand menu.Click the cog marked Settings on the left hand menu: (if menu collapsed) (if menu expanded).Navigate to the project that you wish to edit.The message will be added into a grey banner at the top of your portal as described in the previous section.Ģ - Portal home screen and Request type information boxes Simply add an announcement subject and message, then click the Save changes button on the bottom right hand side.
